DON BOSCO WAVE

Don Bosco Wave Europe is a network that coordinates and brings together over 211 Salesian Vocational Training Centres. Supporting closer collaboration between the Salesian educational world across Europe and the job market to enhance vocational training and job opportunities, with the aim of promoting social and professional development accompanied by employment opportunities for the most vulnerable.

HISTORY AND VALUES IN ONE IMAGE

To represent the history and values promoted by this educational center, we chose the graphic part of the letter D representing Don Bosco embracing a child, Domingo Savio, with the rest of the children represented by the letter W of Wave. Additionally, Don Bosco is depicted guiding them in the right direction with his other arm.

The colors used are easily recognisable as the blue of the European Union alongside the secondary red representing the Salesian identity, thus creating the union of the two entities.

THE RESULT THAT EMBRACED THE SALESIAN COMMUNITY

Don Bosco Wave has become an identity that represents values, history, and the importance of the movement that the Salesian community wishes to promote with a unique, clear, and simple symbol.
